Our passion is for modern furniture and lighting and is reflected in the array of products we sell online. We believe in classic pieces that are meant to last, trying to get away from society’s obsession with buying cheap throw-away items. Being a smaller business we feel we have the edge over the bigger companies by offering superb customer service and rewarding customer loyalty. We want to be your local shop with the personal service that goes with it but online.
When Matt and I opened Cimmermann in Harrogate in 2004, our vision was the same as it is now: to follow our mutual passion for home design and that would be flexible around family life. We are anti-fast furniture and appreciate good design, functionality and craftsmanship. Our business is a family affair. We started the business just a year after marriage and had our son Harry in 2011. He has grown up with our shop being a part of all our lives.
We launched in 2004 with the opening of our first shop in Harrogate. In 2007 we moved to a bigger, better showroom to expand our furniture and lighting ranges. When you ring or contact the shop it will be one of us that answers the call, no waiting in queues or being passed from one department to another, if you need to discuss your order we are here to help at anytime of the day or night.
Here at Rudding Estate, we bring together a thriving business community within a countryside setting. Our Business Parks at Haggs Farm and Spa Bottom Farm offer modern, character-rich office suites converted from period stone buildings.
